International Women’s Day Event
The theme of our event is: ‘Peace in the home… Peace in our communities’ in reference to the horrific numbers of women still suffering from gender based violence. As such, we have invited a variety of speakers to discuss how we can collectively work together to tackle gender based violence. Free entry, all welcome! There will be silk painting workshops being run for the children at our event.

Celebrate International Women’s Day in 2015 by joining the ‪#‎MarchforWomen with Glasgow Women’s Library and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. On the eve of International Women’s Day, we will march from Glasgow Women’s Library to Glasgow Green as a procession to celebrate the achievements of Scottish women from past and present.
