Information Session about Welfare Reform

A briefing session on recent welfare reforms and how they impact and affect women.

This session will be facilitated by Robert Hinds from Glasgow City Council Welfare Rights who will present a “general overview” for service providers  who would like to increase their knowledge and awareness about recent changes to the benefits system and how it might impact on people using their services.

There will be an opportunity for question and answers afterwards. Please note the facilitator will not be able to offer advice and information on individual cases.

This information session is open to women service providers (paid or unpaid) and individuals who are interested in this issue and who would like to increase their knowledge and awareness.

Tea, coffee and breakfast pastries will be available from 9.30 am. You must register for this event and places are limited therefore please register with Lorna as soon as possible at Lorna@wisewomen.org.uk or telephone 0141 550 7557 by Wednesday 5th June 2013. Travel expenses will be available.  Please note we are unable to offer childcare for this event.
