February 5, 2013

kids in a circle holding handsCEDAR Glasgow are now taking referrals for 2013 group work programmes. Any agency can make a referral to CEDAR and women and young people can also refer themselves. CEDAR is an exciting new addition to services for children and young people in Glasgow. The project is delivered in partnership by ASSIST and Glasgow Women’s Aid, and aims to support recovery for families who have experienced domestic abuse. CEDAR provides an opportunity for children, young people and mothers to access a 12 week therapeutic group work programme looking at the impact of domestic abuse and exploring ways of moving forward and recovering from their experiences.  For more information on CEDAR in Scotland, please visit http://cedarnetwork.org.uk  To make a referral, call Isla or Kirsty on 0141 276 7718 or email Isla.Guild@glasgow.gov.uk or Kirsty.Calderwood@glasgow.gov.uk
