St Mungo Museum: International Women’s Day: Celebrating Inspirational Women

March 4, 2011

International women’s day event

We would very much like you to join us on the evening of 7th March, when we are hosting a question and answer session with Margaret Woods, from the Glasgow Campaign to Welcome Refugees, on the subject of her work with the campaign.

Also speaking will be Pinar Aksu, a young woman who works as a volunteer with young asylum seekers and refugees whilst at the same time studying and training as a community worker.

There is a crèche with a limited number of places which can be booked by e mailing or phoning Jane Martin on 276 1625 or jane.martinCSG@glasgowlife.org

The event opens at 6.00 pm with refreshments followed by the question and answer session commencing at 6.30 and we expect to finish for 8.00.

Please note the event is not exclusive to women.  The address is below and feel free to phone the museum on the above number for directions.
