Zero Tolerance is seeking to employ three new workers to help us develop our work to prevent violence against women in Scotland

1. Information and Communications Worker (job description)

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to develop our information and communications output, and ensure all our promotional resources including websites, e-bulletins, social media and publications effectively convey the ethos and activities of Zero Tolerance.

The post is full-time (37.5 hours p/w) and is funded until 31 March 2015. The salary is £19,728, rising to £21,000 in April 2013.

2. Development Officer (Employers and educators) (job description)

We are looking for someone with excellent persuasion and relationship building skills to develop our relationships with employers and schools, and promote engagement with our employers’ scheme (PACT) and our education programme (Respect).

The post is part-time (22.5 hours p/w) and is funded until 31 March 2015. The salary is £14,145 rising to £14,400 in April 2013.

3. Development Officer (Capacity Building) (job description)

We are looking for someone with excellent training and relationship building skills to build the capacity of a range of professionals including nursery workers, youth workers and journalists to prevent violence against women, and promote engagement with a range of Zero Tolerance prevention approaches and tools.

The post is part-time (22.5 hours p/w) and is funded until 31 March 2015. The salary is £14,145 rising to £14,400 in April 2013.

General information for all posts

• Zero Tolerance is currently reviewing its salaries policy so all salaries are subject to review.

• Zero Tolerance will make a 6% pension contribution to a private pension of your choice.

• We offer 35 days of annual leave and 10 public holidays to full-time employees (pro-rata for part-time employees) and we operate a flexible working policy.

• All three posts will be based at our offices (from 17 April 2012) at Conference House, Morrison Street, Edinburgh, with some travel across Scotland from time to time.

The closing date for these posts is 1pm on Monday 30th April 2012.
