An opportunity to develop understanding of the links between violence, trauma and addictions, and to find out about ‘what works’ in supporting people who have challenging behaviour as a result of complex needs. Speakers will include a representative from Glasgow Addiction Psychology Services, Julian Heng, Open Road (men in prostitution), and Frances Monaghan, WISE Women (Personal safety and confidence building work with women)
This seminar is open to all and will be of particular interest to members of local Drug and Alcohol Forums, community addiction services and family support groups.

This event is part of GRAND week 2009. This event has been organised by the Women’s Support Project and financed via the GRAND Local Grant Scheme.
